The product photography needed to match the previous campaign images used by their international division, so a detailed brief was provided for the shoot. The goal was to achieve a warm light with beautiful shadows, keeping the product in focus and using natural materials to capture the feeling of Provence. One of the images was to feature both the shower oil and their iconic hand cream together, with visible texture of both the oil and the cream.
Before the shoot, we had a video meeting to carefully plan the images based on the brief, finalizing backgrounds and props. After that, I ordered everything needed, and the products were shipped to my studio. Then it was time to start photographing!
After the photoshoot, I received great feedback from my client, and the images have since been used on L’Occitane’s websites, the Nordic divisions’ social media channels, and have also been adapted for print for potential future outdoor campaigns across the Nordics.
